Driven by a desire to support communities across Alaska, a group of volunteers founded Advancing Alaska. Collaborating with elected officials, community advocates, and everyday Alaskans, we are committed to creating a better future for all.
Our Mission
Advancing Alaska has a two-fold mission: empowering survivors of sexual assault by providing essential resources and support, and improving outcomes in our education system by recognizing and rewarding exceptional students and teachers. We are committed to fostering healing and resilience, raising awareness, educating communities, and advocating for a safer, stronger, and more hopeful Alaska.
